Reflections by Marmalade always made me think of Heaven is our true home. I think it would be great if the Freedom House choir were to consider singing these two songs at next years fundraiser.

The bible passages, that fit perfectly with the songs, can be read during the instrumental interlude.

The interlude bible passage for 'Reflections of My Life' should be read semi-slowly to fit perfectly within the interlude, starting with the guitar and ending 5 to 7 seconds before the interlude ends. Octaves throughout the song can be lowered to meet the voices of the choir.

He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother’s bible passage needs to be read during the instrumental interlude, which will overlap the last few lyrics, 'He's my brother, He ain't heavy, He's my brother, He ain't heavy'... need be sung quietly in the background to help finish the reading of the passage out to the end of the song.

Play the song and read the lyrics below.

REFLECTIONS OF MY LIFE

The changing

Of sunlight    To moonlight

Reflections of my life

Oh how they fill my eyes

Take me baaack...   To my own home

For as I have often told you before

and now say again

even with tears:

Many live as enemies

of the cross of Christ.

Their end is destruction,

their god is their belly,

and their glory is in their shame.

Their minds are set on earthly things.

But our citizenship is in heaven,

and we eagerly await

a Savior from there,

the Lord Jesus Christ,

who, by the power that enables Him

will transform

David, this 45 album cover reminds me of your upside down, right side up reflection hat 'Jesus Saves'. Ironically, instead of a rabbit in that hat, Jesus' magic hat trick has a sheep in it, you being the sheep. This album cover's shaped like The Fish symbol of reflective waters where the fishies swim and breathe underwater, like we did in my dream. Spiritual baptism.

For you are all brothers who carry each other at Freedom House.

"He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother"

The road is long

With ah many ah winding turn

That leads us to whooooo       Knows where

Who knows where

But I'm strong

Strong enough to carry him

He ain't heavy     He's my brother

So on we go

His welfare is of my concern

No burden is heeeee     To bear

We'll get there

For I know   oh  oh

He would not encumber me

I'm laden      With sadness

That everyone's heart

Isn't filled with the gladness

Of   Luuuuuv     For one another

From which there is no return

While we're on the way to there

Why not share

And the load

Doesn't weigh me down at all

Brothers...    If someone is caught in a trespass,

you who are spiritual should restore him

with a spirit of gentleness.

But watch yourself...

or you also may be tempted.

Carry one anothers burdens...

and in this way

you will fulfill the law of Christ.

If anyone thinks he is something...

when he is nothing,

he deceives himself.

Each one should test his own work...

then he will have reason

to boast in himself alone

For each one should carry his own load...

Is this the Crowder song being sung at the 2019 fundraiser? If you're quire is awesome, you should consider recording in a studio to make CD's for the Vancouver Portland area's for charity for Freedom House. Maybe have The Fish promote theses two songs above with the bible passages. Permissions would have to be granted for copyrighted songs, I think even if it's non profit for charity.

Ad-libbed Song Meaning of

Robert Plants ‘Carry Fire’

Jesus waits for His prodigal children

in hopes they cry out to Him,

just like so many wait for Him on His timing

after they come to Him.

He carries your sins

as fire in his nail-scarred hands

He was an outcast in the promise land

Being born of man, inside out, upside down.

Carry Fire

He sits and waits for you

Like so many others do
Just like they do for Him,

Well, so He does for you

He carries fire for you
Here in His nail-scarred hands
He bares His heart to you
If you will understand

He was a stranger here

Inside your promise land
That turned Him inside out

And turned Him upside down

He carries fire for you
Here in His nail-scarred hands
He bares His heart to you
If you will understand

Your sins, your sins, your sins, He died for you
Your sins, your sins, your sins, He died for you

He’s reaching out for you

Across broken days
All through the gathering years

Beyond these lonely ways

He carries fire for you
Here in His nail-scarred hands
He bares His heart to you
If you will understand

Your sins, your sins, your sins, He died for you
Your sins, your sins, your sins, He died for you

Oh   oooooooh    Oh   oooooooh

Oh   oooooooh    Oh   oooooooh

Your sins, your sins, your sins, He died for you
